Who are you at the agency and what do you do?
I am a photographer, I deal with the visual representation of the concept of our clients. The protagonists of my photographs are people and spaces — models presenting products or services of brands in use and employees of companies.
Why do you do what you do?
I always wanted my work to be, in a way, a door to new worlds. When I take pictures, I open them. I think of photographs as fragments of history that everyone can interpret and live in their own way, and thus be inspired to do their own thing.
What motivates you?
“It looks exactly like I imagined it to be.” — it may be cliché, but I'm really motivated by this feedback and customer satisfaction! Because it means that I was able to empathize with the vision and level of aesthetics of the other person. It is for this deep, shared satisfaction that I fight for every photo and I do not hesitate to use even the most creative means to achieve exactly the effect I want. Such artistic gymnastics inspires me to push my own boundaries and create still fresh images.
What's your story?
My story with the camera began very prosaic. As a teenager, I admired my friends who took beautiful pictures in different places and styles. As soon as I rushed to my dad for an old, family camera — then still a small digital recorder — and began to study. This turned into many years of friendship, mutual inspiration, support... and first successes.
Over time, photography has become a huge part of my life and has taken a pretty serious direction. The more I took pictures, the more local companies, individual clients and agencies came to me — and I got involved in more and more interesting and challenging projects. And that's how I develop to this day!
What are you passionate about?
In addition to photography? Pharmacy. Since I was a child, I was drawn to the laboratory — I mixed creams with perfumes and “invented” more and more new specificities. Fortunately, life never gave me a choice: pharmacy or photos, so I reached for both with full awareness. Empathy and working with people deepens my artistic sensibility — and vice versa. That is why I am happy to combine and nurture both of these worlds and I do not think to tip the scales either way.
You and your work in 3 words are...
Creativity. Aesthetics. And photographic perfectionism.
